SUMMER MOVIES THOUGHTS.
This a list for movies coming out in 2012 and first off is the movies i am worried about.(this list is in no particular order.)
Movies I am not that excited for:
The Dictator: Well lets be honest its a comedy and it might have the potential to suck.
G.I. Joe 2: I hated the first G.I. Joe with a burning passion but it might be better hey the Rock and Bruce Willis are going to be in it so it has some potential of not sucking like the first one but hey I can't see the future.
Rurouni Kenshin: This is the only foreign film on the list and first off i do think it looks good and looks like the anime but I am worried as i can't get the bad taste of Dragon Ball Evolution out of my mouth and that makes me worried but just a little bit.
Battle Ship: It looks like an average alien invasion action movie that is all i need to say.
Movies I think are going to be awesome:
The Dark Knight Rises: Well its a Christopher Nolan Batman movie need i say more.
The Avengers: See the new trailer for this movie it is sick and i am pumped as all hell but i have yet to see Captain  America so i need to catch up.
The Amazing Spider Man: I am a huge spider man fan but i was very disappointed  with Spider Man 3 and I hope this is better.
Now for a list of movies I am looking forward to but I thought I would have been beating a dead horse:
Prometheus, Men In Black 3, Brave, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and Expandable s 2.

Tales Of The Abyss (First Impressions)

Well its time for something different. Don"t jump to conclusions just yet this blog is still about Gundam but from time to time I do plan on talking about games so expect that in the mix of the Gundam posts. So I started Tales Of The Abyss which is my first game in the Tales series and its an action RPG with controls like Super Smash Brothers and did i mention that the series has co-op. Well its time to talk about the story you know sometimes the deal breaker for an RPG. So we are living on a planet called Auldrant you know the name of the planet that got blown up in Star Wars: A New Hope, and our protagonist name is Luke Fon Fabre who is son of a duke of the kingdom Kimlasca and Luke's Uncle is king. Luke suffers from amnesia (oh boy) because from an early age he was kidnapped by a rival kingdom and it traumatized him and his father will not allow Luke to venture out of the kingdom and this makes Luke a annoying asshole (so annoying that Tidus from Final Fantasy 10 will tell him to stfu) through out the begging of the game. One day during training with his master Van a mysterious girl named Tear (she looks like C.C. from Code Geass) and fights Van then Luke starts fighting Tear and a weird flash of light transports Luke and Tear to a forest and now they are forced to work together. Now I am going to stop here cause i don't want to ruin the rest of the story and the point that I'm at is 4 hours beyond this point i think i covered the basics. I said that Luke is annoying as all hell and it gets on your nerves and most cut scenes follow a pattern somebody says something to Luke and Luke starts flipping out and Tear just tells him to shut up that's pretty much it for some cut scenes. The game play is great I love Super Smash Brothers and this control scheme plays well and its sometimes not mashing the B button but to chain in combos and getting into different element fields and to press the B button to unleash a even more powerful Attack. I can say that this is a good RPG the game play is great the story seems cliche at times and Luke is annoying but I bet when I play more and more Luke will grow on me. This is all I can say for right now i am 4 hours in the game and i might do a final thoughts when i complete the game but until then bye.

Rant: Bandai entertainment.
well if you keep up with gundam news you know that Bandai entertainment the people that brought over Gundam, Code Geass, and Gurren Laggan are now stopping to release new dvds, blu rays, and mangas. now this happen back in january but i would like to putout my 2 cents on this. well one series bandai was going to release before this announcement was Turn A Gundam which was made back in 1999 for Gundams 20th anniversary was finally coming to the U.S. and i was excited as all hell even thought it wasn't going to have a English dub i was happy to have turn a gundam in a legal form. but bandai pulled the plug and i was crushed and turn a gundam is a part of the forbidden four (name i gave to the 4 gunadm shows that are not available in the U.S.) such as ZZ Gundam, Victory Gundam, And Gundam X. but all hope is not lost as bandai might find another company to distribute turn a and other projects Bandai was working on before they cancelled it. but hey time will tell if Bandai Entertainment get back on their feet and start selling anime again.

p.s. this was my reaction when bandai cancelled the release of Turn A Gundam.

I know i might get some crap from the 00 fans for my review/thoughts but i want to say that i don't hate Gundam 00 i was just very displeased with the film so before you write your angry comments i just want you all to know were i was coming from with my thoughts of the film.
Gundam 00: awaking of the trailblazers (thoughts)

Well i guess i should talk about the Gundam 00 movie that came out in late 2010. first before i give my thoughts i think i should talk about 00 and Gundam for that matter. back when Gundam Wing came out in the U.S. i was amazed by how deep a cartoon can be because the first two animes i watched before Gundam where Pokemon and Dragon Ball Z and they were not the most deepest show in terms of story. and i loved gundam up until toonami took Gundam Seed off the air and i had no interest. fast forward to 2008 when i looked around On Demand and then i see Gundam Seed Destiny and i was impressed. say what you will about Gundam Seed Destiny i rather enjoyed it for what it is i don't think its the best Gundam show but not the worst that honor belongs to SD Gundam Force. Now on to Gundam 00. i really liked the first season the mecha designs were amazing the characters were really well done the ending was great. the second season is another story the characters were really weak compared to the first season the villains sucked they were good in season one but they took a back seat to the girly man himself Ribbons Almark and the mecha designs were ok but the final battle was epic all in all the second season was OK. And now the movie oh boy what a mess that is all i can say but lets dig deeper. The story takes place 2 years after the T.V series and Setsuna and Celestial Being are still doing what they do best stopping conflicts IN SPACE!!! and then a new threat appears as a group of aliens called the ELS which are liquid metal pods that attach themselves to mobile suits and copy's their abilities and the aliens are on their way to earth so its up to well every human being to stop the new threat from killing every human being on earth and so that is the movie in a nutshell. now the problem with this movie is that there are way too many characters and some have no importance in the movie and there are too many characters that i don't care for and the movie would be better off without them. its really noticeable with the new character Descartes Shaman which has alot of build up and seemed like the new villain of the movie but he does jack shit and you left asking yourself was there no point. Now one thing i can say i like is the action in the movie it is jaw dropping amazing and the movie has amazing music too. The theme of the movie is understanding one another and a lack of communication with one another and the ELS are not really that bad they are misunderstood and are just looking for a new home. The mecha designs are good i like 3 of the 4 main Gundams i like the 00 Quan [T] even thought it appears in the last five minutes of the film and shows off its awesome gimmicks to sell more toys and model kits i also like Zabanya and Harute as they stole the show with their beam spaming goodness. but one Gundam i don't like in terms of design is the Raphael even thought it was cool and all but i mean really A HAT PACK?!? now my final thoughts i don't like this movie interms of story and characters but the action scenes are great. it is interesting to see aliens in Gundam in its 30+ years of history which Gundam Age hinted at but if you watch age you know who are the UEs. i guess you can call this movie the Micheal Bay of Gundam. if your a huge Gundam 00 fan you might find this movie good but if you never watched or you don't like Gundam 00 stay away you will be confused as all hell.
